Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a skilled RN for a telemetry unit. You will deliver evidence-based nursing care, coordinate patient plans, and ensure quality outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

The role features 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and rotating holidays, with self-scheduling and a strong emphasis on safe, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification by the American Heart Association.
• Telemetry certification is preferred at time of hire and required by end of orientation.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Schedule Details/Additional Information:

Every other weekend and rotating holidays per site scheduling. Self-scheduling, twelve hours shifts, holiday and weekend rotation.

Pay Range:

$38.20 - $57.30

Where You Will Work:

36 bed Medical Telemetry unit that cares for patients that require medical telemetry care such as adults with a wide range of diagnoses. Teamwork, high emphasis on patients being ready to go home by receiving high quality care. Communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement. Collaboration

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Telemetry certification is preferred at time of hire but not required. Telemetry certification and competency support during orientation. Telemetry certification required by end of orientation.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
