Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a compassionate RN for the Oncology/Medical-Surgical unit. This part-time role is 24 hours per week with a 12-hour shifts pattern, including holiday and weekend rotations.

You will provide direct patient care, coordinate nursing processes, and uphold standards of practice in a newly developed unit with strong teamwork and professional development opportunities. The unit emphasizes collaboration, shared governance, and opportunities for clinical ladder

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Minimum 6 months RN experience; not for new grads.
• RN license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled RN, provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead with evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and communication to ensure safety and high-quality patient experiences.

Our populationconsistof Oncology, GI, respiratory, cardiac, diabetes, and short stay surgeries such as, cholecystectomies, and appendectomies. You nameit,we see it! Caring for our Oncology/medical/surgical population will provide our nursing team with a robust and diverse skillset that gives nurses confidence in any setting. ExpectationsWe’reLooking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for newgrads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
