HSHS St. Anthony's Memorial Hospital in Effingham, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Medical Surgical unit to establish a compassionate environment and support patients and families.

The position requires IL licensure as an RN, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred, and offers a 36-hour weekly schedule on the night shift with every-other weekend and holiday rotations. Pay Range:$34.00 - $51.00A successful candidate's actual pay rate will be based on several factors including relevant experience, skills, training, certifications and education.Establishes a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families. Promotes and restores patients' health by completing the nursing process, collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, providing physical and psychological support to patients, friends, and families, and supervising assigned team members. Promotes patient's independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patient, friends, and family to understand condition, medications, and self-care skills, and answering questions. Assures quality of care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring health outcomes against patient care goals and standards, making or recommending necessary adjustments, and following nursing philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.Position Specifics:Department: Medical SurgicalCore Function: NursingSchedule: Full Time, 36 hours per week, night shift.
