AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join a dedicated care team. The role involves conducting holistic assessments, developing individualized care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families.

Collaboration with physicians and staff ensures high-quality, patient-centered care. Candidates should hold an RN license with an Associate's degree (Bachelor's preferred) and bring strong teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication.

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
