Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist in Winston-Salem, NC, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Medical Oncology ICU. This full-time role focuses on delivering comprehensive care in a high-acuity, cancer-focused ICU setting.

You will collaborate with intensivists, oncologists, and pharmacists to manage complex cases, participate in evidence-based practice, and contribute to patient- and family-centered care in a premier academic health system.

Formación

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state of practice.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers (AHA).
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire.

In the Medical Oncology Intensive Care Unit, nurses collaborate with board-certified intensivists, oncologists, and pharmacists to deliver advanced, compassionate care for the most complex cases. The environment is high-acuity and patient-centered, with custom amenities for families and seamless teamwork across oncology services.

Expectations We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• ACLS are required within 6 months of hire

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
