Responsibilities

• Assessing/admitting patients on the observation unit
• Perform rounding checks and administer medications
• Communicate with patients’ family members and care teams
• Provide overall care and support to patients and monitor progress
• Demonstrate teamwork to ensure high-quality patient care

Overview: Sentara is currently hiring an RN to work at Sentara Leigh Hospital located in Norfolk on our Observation Unit. Hours/Shift: Full-time, nightshift. Approximately 7pm to 7am.

On our 24-bed unit, you will have the opportunity to encourage patients on their recovery journey and have a long-term impact in a short amount of time. The RN to patient ration is 6:1.
