Job summary

Job description

Location - Peterborough, NH

Job Requirements

• You need to have experience using Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• The client uses Allscripts Paragon.
• You should be able to read vital signs and give injections or vaccinations.
• You must be willing to work in different areas when needed.
• As a nurse, you will care for 6 patients, with help from 2 LMA, on each floor.
• There are 18 beds staffed in total.
• You will have a 4 to 6 week training period before working on the floor, which is great!

Job Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, you will plan and take care of nursing duties in one unit during your shift, following the established guidelines.
• You will work well with other shifts to ensure good patient care.
• You will keep good relationships with different departments and nursing units.
• You will participate in education, record-keeping, and improving policies, procedures, and skills of staff.

The tasks listed here are not the only ones you may have to do. You will also need to follow other instructions and perform additional tasks as requested by your supervisor.

Requirements

• We welcome new graduates with a temporary or active New Hampshire license.
• We will consider Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) graduates.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and Tele Strip certification are preferred.

• License/Certifications: You must have a New Hampshire license (or a compact license), with ACLS and BLS certifications. An active license/certifications are required when you apply.
