This unit will have a mixture of medical, surgical and intermediate care patients. Approximately 7am to 7pmDepartment/Position Overview:This 8-bed unit will have a mixture of medical, surgical and intermediate care patients. The RN to patient ratio is 4 to 1 with a Patient Care Technician. We are looking for nurses with IMCU experience or at least two years of recent RN Medical Surgical acute care nursing experience. The IMCU patients will not include those with Bipap, Epidural catheters, Dofetilide and Sotalol Initiation, ventilators, thoracic patients (chest tubes) and post cardiac cath patients.As a Registered Nurse with Sentara, you can excel in your career.
