Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med-Surg unit in Nacogdoches, TX. You will render professional nursing care to assigned patients, collaborate with the care team, and support patient safety and comfort.

Eligible for a sign-on bonus based on experience and unit needs. Minimum 1 year med-surg experience is preferred; must hold an RN license and current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• RN license with at least 1 year of med-surg experience.

POSITION SUMMARY

Renders professional nursing care to patients assigned in a Med-Surg unit, in support of medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect care patient care and collaboration with other disciplines involved in the provision of care.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree or Diploma in Nursing
Minimum Experience: RN license with at least 1 year of experience on med-surg
Required Certification: BLS, PALS, ACLS **
Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
