Job summary

Ardent in Tulsa, OK is seeking a night shift, full-time Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN). The RN will apply the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for assigned patients.

The role requires a graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program and an active Oklahoma RN license, with a minimum of 2 years bedside hospital experience and current BLS/ACLS certifications. CCU/ED/ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program.
• Current OklahomaRN license.
• Minimum 2 years hospital bedside experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Preferred: critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement and evaluate care for assigned patients.
• Identify and prioritize needs, plan care, and collaborate with physicians and the interprofessional team.
• Provide care in units including ICU, ED, CS, SDU and Cath Lab (if qualified).
• Abide by Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is primarily responsible for using the nursing process of assessment, nursing diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide care to assigned patients.
• Responsible and accountable for identifying and prioritizing needs, formulating the plan of care, prioritizing/managing/delegating interventions and collaborating with the physicians and other members of the interdisciplinary team.
• The RN must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the patients served in each of the critical care units including; ICU, ED, IC S, SDU and Cath Lab (if qualified).
• He/she is expected to abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act as well as other regulatory and accrediting bodies.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN nursing program
• Must possess a current Oklahoma License as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 2 years experience hospital bedside experience
• Must obtain and maintain a current certification in BLS and ACLS

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Critical care experience
