Job summary

Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Night Shift Float Pool Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high‑quality patient care across medical‑surgical units and rehab.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards, delivering safe, compassionate care during every shift on the float pool.

Qualifications

• Two to three years of critical care experience.
• Two-year associate degree.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Oklahoma RN license is required.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care per hospital standards.
• Provide care across med-surg units and rehab on the float pool.
• Develop and modify the plan of care in line with Patient Care policies.
• Adhere to the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act and CMS/TJC requirements.

Responsibilities

Individuals within this job classification are accountable for assessing, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting care activities in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care.

The Registered Nurse (RN) must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the needs of the patient served on each of the medical surgical units including all med-surg units and rehab.

The RN is to plan for the provision of patient care including the development, modification, and implementation of the plan of care in accordance with HHS standards to deliver efficient, effective, and quality patient care as described in the Patient Care policies and procedures.

The RN candidate is expected to adhere to and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act as well as other regulatory and accrediting organizations including CMS and TJC.

Qualifications

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care
