Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd’s 3East Med-Surg overflow unit in Rome, GA, seeks a skilled RN to provide patient-centered care for a broad range of medical and surgical patients. The team values flexibility, teamwork, and a positive, supportive environment.

As a pivotal member of the nursing staff, you will use the nursing process to coordinate care, maintain safety, and enhance the patient experience across the continuum. A state RN license and BLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
