Job summary

Atrium Health Floyd Medical Center’s 3East Med-Surg unit seeks a dedicated part-time Registered Nurse to join a steady-paced team caring for a broad range of medical and surgical patients. You will coordinate care, perform nursing processes, and contribute to a safe, therapeutic environment while meeting established standards.

The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

3East is a steady-paced 27 bed Med-Surg overflow unit that cares for a broad range of medical and surgical patients. Our team is known for its flexibility and teamwork. • General medical/surgical patients requiring acute care

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
