Job summary

Resolute Health Hospital in New Braunfels, TX seeks a Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care under minimal supervision, matching patient needs with nurse competencies. Complete competencies during introductory period and perform duties as assigned.

Minimum education: graduate of accredited school of nursing; Bachelor’s degree preferred. RN license in Texas required; BLS on hire; ACLS within 60 days for dialysis. Behavioral Health requires Non-Violent Crisis Intervention within 60 days.

• None for Med/Surg and Behavioral Health
• 1 year in acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis

Preferred Experience

• 2 years in acute care for Med/Surg
• 2 years in psychiatric facility for Behavioral Health
• 2 years acute/chronic dialysis for Dialysis

Required Certifications/Licensure

• Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse.
• For RN in Behavioral Health: Non-Violent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into department.

Preferred Certifications/Licensure

• Non-Violent Crisis Intervention for Behavioral Health must be obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer into role.
• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Dialysis Department: In addition to Basic Life Support, ACLS (AHA) must be completed within 60 days of hire or transfer into the unit.

Required Courses/Completions (e.g., CPR)

• Must have active healthcare provider Basic Life Support on hire (ARC or AHA); however, must have AHA Healthcare Provider BLS within 60 days of hire.
