Job summary

DGADA Management - ede8 is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for a per diem Med/Surg role in Montgomery, AL. The RN will care for patients recovering from illness, injury, or surgery, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery and discharge planning.

The candidate should hold an Alabama RN license with CPR/BLS. Inpatient rehab experience is preferred, ACLS is a plus, and strong assessment and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current, active RN license valid in Alabama.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of experience in an inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting preferred.
• ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong patient assessment, communication, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ conditions and monitor vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Monitor patients for changes in condition and report concerns promptly.
• Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate patients and families about treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
• Promote patient safety, infection prevention, and quality care.

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, qualified Registered Nurse for a per diem opportunity. The successful candidate will provide nursing care to patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, and other medical conditions. The RN will work with an interdisciplinary team to support patient recovery, improve independence, and prepare patients for discharge.
