Overview

Location- Lawton, Oklahama

The Med-Surg Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care by performing patient assessments, establishing nursing diagnoses, and creating individualized care plans. This role involves collaborating with ancillary nursing staff and other members of the healthcare team to uphold high standards of professional practice in a clinical environment. The nurse will develop care systems for a diverse patient population, including infants, children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. Our unit is currently opening to accommodate overflow patients, operating a 12-bed facility with a staffing ratio of 1:4-5, contingent on patient acuity.

As a medical-surgical telemetry nurse, you will monitor patients\' vital signs and physiological parameters using telemetry equipment. Your role will take place primarily in hospitals and similar clinical settings, caring for individuals with various conditions, such as heart failure, diabetes, and gastrointestinal issues.

Qualifications

• Authorized to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oklahoma.
• Holding or being willing to obtain NIH Certification is mandatory.
• Minimum of 6 months of Med-Surg experience.
• A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.
