Job summary

Select Medical’s Select Specialty Hospital in Greenock, PA is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Long Term Acute Care. This full‑time position is based at McKeesport location inside UPMC McKeesport and features a day shift from 7a to 7p.

Compensation is $39.38–$53.00 per hour with weekend differentials, plus a $15,000 sign‑on bonus. The role includes strong orientation, tuition assistance, scholarship programs, clinical ladder training, and generous benefits to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS is required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Initial and ongoing systematic patient assessment.
• Timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients/families.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
