Job summary

Select Medical is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Long Term Acute Care setting in Braddock, PA. The position is at Select Specialty Hospital - McKeesport inside UPMC McKeesport, with a 7p-7a night schedule.

Compensation ranges from $37.90 to $53.00 per hour with night and weekend differentials, plus a $15,000 sign-on bonus. On-site, full-time role with strong orientation and growth opportunities within a large healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Maintain timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Demonstrate competence in Rapid Response and code events.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
