Job summary

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute at Morehead, Charlotte, NC, is seeking a registered nurse for our outpatient infusion center. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care, delivering safe, evidence-based therapies in a fast-paced environment with a focus on patient experience.

This is a part-time, PRN position with a pay range of $35.50–$53.25 per hour. Sign-on bonus eligibility applies, and benefits are not listed as eligible.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• One year of Nursing experience needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.

Education

Atrium Health Levine Cancer Institute at Morehead, located in Charlotte, NC, is an outpatient infusion center that cares for the adult population, ages 18+. We offer the latest cancer treatments, supportive therapy, and access to groundbreaking clinical trials. Our clinical team includes nurses, medical assistants, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants.

We’re Looking For

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You’ll Do

As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes, taking action as needed. May administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and according to clinical protocols and procedures.
