Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intermediate Care Unit at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital. This full-time night-shift position on campus focuses on delivering and coordinating nursing care with a multidisciplinary team.

You will perform comprehensive assessments, educate patients and families, develop individualized care plans, and ensure safe medication administration while upholding evidence-based practices and MLH’s mission.

Qualifications

  • Required - Associates Degree in Nursing.
  • Preferred - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • TN RN license and BLS certification required.
  • 0–1 years of clinical nursing experience required.
  • Nice to have 1–3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts comprehensive nursing assessments to determine interventions and develop care plans.
  • Provides patient and family education on care plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
  • Develops, implements, and adjusts personalized care plans based on ongoing assessments.
  • Administrates medications safely following best practices.
  • Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
