Job summary
Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery on the Night Shift. You will deliver high-quality nursing care, perform assessments, and develop care plans while coordinating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited RN program.
- Current RN license in the state of practice or Compact RN License.
- BLS certification through the American Heart Association (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards.
- Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive healthcare outcomes.

- BLS may be obtained within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, and perform direct patient care activities
