Join MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital as a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery. This full-time night shift position (0.9 FTE) features 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends, and a chance to provide skilled, patient-centered care in a supportive team environment.

You will work with a multidisciplinary group to deliver care, advance evidence-based practices, and support families through labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Current BLS Certification required.
  • ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department.
  • Certification in specialty area preferred.
  • One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred.

Responsabilités

  • You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
  • You will utilize the nursing knowledge to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction.
  • Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and health care team.
  • Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse backgrounds.

As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $41.94 - $75.89 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
