Job summary

Premier Health in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) in Labor & Delivery at Miami Valley Hospital to provide skilled, compassionate care during labor and childbirth.

The RN will collaborate with an inter-professional team, advocate for patients and families, and apply the nursing process to a diverse caseload in a safe, respectful environment.

Candidates should hold an Ohio RN license, BLS, and an associate degree with BSN preferred; orientation will include onboarding and competency testing.

Position: Registered Nurse RN

Department: Labor & Delivery

Facility: Miami Valley Hospital

Shift: Three 3:00pm-11:30pm shifts & one 11:00am-11:30pm shift

The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients/families/significant others to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support which impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in the practice of Nursing. The RN utilizes the nursing process in conjunction with evidence-based principles to care for a diverse caseload of patients within the department scope of service. The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader and sentry. The RN collaborates with and guides care delivered by the inter-professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics and applicable regulatory standards.
