Job summary

Solomon Page Healthcare & Medical Staffing is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week assignment in Lancaster, California. You will provide high-quality care to laboring mothers and newborns, assist with deliveries, and monitor patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

The role requires a California RN license, BLS/ACLS/NRP/AWHONN certifications, and travel RN experience. Expect weekend/holiday shifts and potential OR float as needed.

Qualifications

• Current California RN license.
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications.
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
• Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience.
• Willingness to float to the Operating Room as needed.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as requested by AVMC.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate labor and delivery care to patients.
• Assist with deliveries and monitor patients through labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiology, neonatology, and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Be prepared to float to the Operating Room as needed.

Job description

Our client is looking to add a Labor & Delivery (L&D) Registered Nurse to their team. As an L&D RN, you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to laboring mothers and newborns, assist with deliveries, and monitor patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. The L&D RN will collaborate closely with obstetricians, anesthesiology, neonatology, and the multidisciplinary care team to ensure safe and positive patient outcomes.
