Job summary

Nacogdoches Medical Center is seeking an experienced RN for Labor & Delivery. This full-time night shift role involves directing nursing services and delivering specialized care to mothers and newborns, while supporting families with compassion.

Signing bonus may be available and professional growth is encouraged within a collaborative team environment in East Texas.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing
• Minimum Experience: RN with a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience required
• Required Certification: BLS, NRP, ACLS & Fetal Monitoring required
• Required Licensure: Valid Texas RN license
• FLSA Status: Non-exempt

Responsibilities

• Directs nursing service activities of the Labor and Delivery Department. Provides specialized professional nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery.
• Treats patients and their families with courtesy and respect; fosters trust with new parents.
• Works under medical staff direction and hospital policies to deliver direct and indirect patient care.
