Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus in El Paso, TX is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our night shift. This part-time role focuses on direct patient care, assessment, and coordination of nursing services.

You will collaborate with a professional team to deliver safe, high-quality care, administer medications, and support emergency response protocols. A valid RN license and 1 year of acute care experience are required; BLS/ACLS may be needed per policy.

Qualifications

  • Graduated from a state approved school of nursing.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing.
  • Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice as required by state.
  • CPR certification (AHA BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable).

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct clinical nursing care to assigned patients on a per-shift basis.
  • Supervise team members and coordinate patient care within nursing standards.
  • Administer medications safely and per hospital policy; participate in QA and infection control.

Job Summary

Job Shift: Night

Job Type: Part Time

This role provides direct clinical patient care. The role will assume responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing direct clinical care to assigned patients on a per shift basis, and unit level. The role is responsible for supervision of staff to which appropriate care is delegated. The role is accountable to support CNO to ensure high quality, safe and appropriate nursing care, competency of clinical staff, and appropriate resource management related to patient care.

Responsibilities

The RN provides high-quality, safe, cost-effective, total nursing care to all patients. The RN assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the nursing process. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, QI, and Infection Control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided. Assumes responsibility for coordination and planning of patient care within the prescribed medical regime. Administers all medications safely and in a timely manner per hospital policy. Performs and fulfills all HICS (hospital incident command system) responsibilities, assignments, tasks, and roles as directed and needed by the facility in times of emergency and/or disaster. Responsible for knowing the Hospital's emergency codes, including the purpose and appropriate action for each, and adheres to the Hospital policies and procedures for each emergency code.

Qualifications

Education: Required: Graduated from a state approved school of nursing or an accredited school.

Preferred: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing

Experience: Required: At least 1 year of Acute Care Setting RN experience

Certifications: Required: Currently licensed, certified, or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy; CPR. AHA BLS, and if applicable by corporate policy for unit of hire, AHA ACLS and/or PALS and/or NRP.
