The Piedmont Joint Camp at High Point Medical Center, part of Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist, is a 24-bed orthopedic post-operative unit focused on recovery after total joint replacement. RNs provide pain management, mobility support, education, and safe discharge planning, collaborating with surgeons, physical therapists, case managers, and nursing leadership to ensure excellent patient care.

We’re looking for a registered nurse who completed an accredited nursing program, holds a valid RN

Competenze

• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• RN experience with >1 year preferred, new grads to postings labeled New Graduate RN only
• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program is required

Mansioni

Where You Will Work

The Piedmont Joint Camp is a 24 bed orthopedic post operative unit specializing in the recovery and rehabilitation of patients undergoing total joint replacement surgeries. Team members provide high quality, patient centered care focused on pain management, mobility, education, and safe discharge planning. Staff collaborate closely with surgeons, physical therapists, case managers, and nursing leadership to ensure consistent clinical excellence and an exceptional patient experience. Responsibilities include monitoring post operative status, managing surgical drains and dressings, supporting early ambulation, educating patients and families on recovery expectations, and maintaining a safe, encouraging environment that promotes optimal healing and independence.

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Greater than 1 year of RN experience (RNs with less than 1 year of RN experience: Please apply to postings that have "New Graduate RN" in the title.)

What You’ll Do

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
