Job summary

Black Women's Mental Health Institute in Tucson, AZ is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide specialized care in interventional radiology. You will ensure patient safety, monitor care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires an AZ or compact RN license, BLS, and at least one year of RN experience. Preferred are BSN, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. A sign-on bonus is available based on eligibility.

Role Overview

Provides specialized nursing care in interventional radiology, ensuring patient safety and quality care.

Key Responsibilities

Implements and monitors care plans, communicates patient conditions, coordinates multidisciplinary efforts, and manages physician/nursing orders. Assesses patient needs through comprehensive evaluations, establishes care goals collaboratively, and documents care activities. Implements treatments, administers medications, educates patients and families, and evaluates care effectiveness for continuous improvement. Facilitates discharge planning and manages patient transitions to optimize outcomes.

Qualifications & Skills

Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid Arizona or compact nursing license, BLS certification, and at least one year of RN experience. Preferred candidates possess a BSN, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications. Strong clinical judgment, communication, coordination, and documentation skills are essential.
