Job summary

Aurora West Allis Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Internal Float Pool. This full-time role covers Med/Surg areas across shifts, with 36 hours per week and a 6-week self-scheduling cycle.

Responsibilities include working across multiple units, with opportunities to cross-train in ICU, ER, or Women's Health, maintaining high-quality, flexible patient care and teamwork across the facility.

Qualifications

  • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
  • RN license issued by the state of practice.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
  • Minimum 1 year acute care RN experience; 2 years preferred.
  • BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work in Med/Surg units as an Internal Float Pool RN.
  • Cross-train in ICU, ER or Women's Health as needed.
  • Provide versatile care across multiple units within one facility.

Aurora West Allis Medical Center’s Internal Float Pool Level 1: Work in various units within one (1) facility brings variety and learning to your practice. Our Internal Med/Surg Float RNs bring versatility, clinical strength, and teamwork to every shift, ensuring high‑quality, compassionate care across multiple critical care areas within a single facility.
