Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, part of the Manatee Healthcare System, is seeking a per diem ICU Registered Nurse. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of Critical Care experience and current Florida RN licensure, with BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Certification.

You will provide safe, evidence-based nursing care, communicate with physicians and the healthcare team, administer IVs and medications, and monitor patient status using advanced equipment. Per diem days only.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Critical Care experience.
• Per diem days position in the ICU.
• Must hold Florida RN licensure.
• BLS and ACLS certification and NIH Stroke Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care in ICU per facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs.
• Administer IVs and medications; monitor patient vitals with monitoring equipment.
• Support patient-centered care and teamwork within the healthcare team.

About Manatee Memorial Hospital (MMH): Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. The Registered Nurse promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy. Demonstrates professional leadership and support to the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care. Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IV’s and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
