Job summary

Texas Health Resources is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN II) for Med Surg on the 3rd Floor South at the Fort Worth location. This full-time day shift (7A-7P) includes rotating weekends and holidays and supports a patient census of 18-22 on a busy Med Surg unit.

Qualifications include a Nursing Diploma or ADN with preferred BSN, 1 year RN experience or residency completion, and current RN license with BCLS and CPI training; ACLS required for charge.

• Ability to work in a fast paced Med Surg environment.
• Team-based care and effective communication with colleagues.

Work hours: Full Time (36 Hour) Days Shift; 7A-7P x3 shifts per week with rotating weekends and holidays

Here’s What You Need

Education

• Nursing Diploma (nursing) required Or
• Associate's Degree Nursing required Or
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred

Experience

• 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required
• 2+ years of Tele and/or Med Surg experience in a domestic hospital setting preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required
• CPI- Crisis Prevention Intervention Training (maintained annually) 90 days required And
• ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (charge only) 90 days required
