TEEMA Solutions Group seeks an experienced Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced critical care team in Texas. You will provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients, monitor conditions, administer therapies, and document using MedHost EMR.
The role requires 2+ years ICU experience, BLS/ACLS, and willingness to float to Stepdown and participate in call coverage. ASAP start with night shifts in a travel assignment environment.
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to join a fast-paced critical care team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident ICU nurse with strong critical-thinking skills and the ability to provide exceptional care to high-acuity patients.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of recent Critical Care/ICU experience, strong clinical judgment, and experience working with critically ill patients in a hospital setting.
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill and high-acuity patients.
Continuously assess, monitor, and document patients' conditions.
Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient status.
Administer medications, treatments, and therapies according to physician orders and facility protocols.
Manage complex patient care while maintaining a safe 2:1 patient ratio, with occasional 3–4:1 assignments.
Collaborate closely with physicians and the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Provide care for patients requiring close monitoring and critical interventions.
Accurately document patient care using MedHost EMR.
Educate and support patients and their families when appropriate.
Maintain strict infection-control, safety, and quality standards.
Be prepared to float to the Stepdown Unit as required.
Participate in call coverage, when needed.

Nights: 5:45 PM – 6:15 AM
No 48-hour option

Typical patient ratio: 2:1
Occasional ratio: 3–4:1
MedHost EMR
Active RN license appropriate for the assignment location
BLS certification
ACLS certification
Minimum 2+ years of recent ICU/Critical Care experience
Strong critical-care clinical skills
Experience caring for high-acuity patients
Ability to work night shifts
Must be available to start ASAP
Willingness to float to Stepdown
Willingness to take call if required
Traveler's permanent residence must be more than 50 miles from the facility
