Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ICU Neuro unit. The role involves delivering patient-centered care on a 3 x 12 hour shift schedule, 7am-7pm, with rotating weekends.

A $10,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates, and clinical ladder opportunities promote career growth within a faith-based health system. The position requires an Associate's degree in nursing with GA RN licensure and at least 1 year of acute care experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with an Associate's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's in Nursing is preferred.
• GA RN license required or eligible for licensure.
• 1+ year in an acute care hospital setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across physiological and psychosocial domains.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and revise as patient needs evolve.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with the care team to coordinate and optimize patient care.

Job Description

Minimum Pay: $35 / hour

• The Registered Nurse RN ICU Neuro conducts comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
