Job summary

Qualifications

Job description

Role:

Provides direct patient care in the ICU, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards.

• Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Participates in activities to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, while engaging in professional development.
• Develops and documents individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, patients, and families, ensuring effective communication across care settings.
• Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, considering patient preferences, values, and cultural factors.
• Works in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining constant alertness and safety awareness.

Qualifications & Skills:

Nursing diploma/associates degree required; RN licensure essential. Preferred candidates have a bachelor’s degree and less than two years of experience. Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills are necessary.
