Aurora St Luke's South Shore is hiring a Registered Nurse for the 12-bed ICU, focusing on medical and respiratory care. The role requires completion of an accredited nursing program, at least 6 months of RN experience, an active RN license in the state, and BLS certification.

You will provide and coordinate patient care using the nursing process in a safe, therapeutic environment. As part of the ICU team, you will apply evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, and strong communication

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program is required.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the practicing state and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.

Where You Will Work:

• 12 bed ICU - medical /respiratory

We're Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience, this position is not for new grads
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

What You'll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
