Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in the ICU. You will follow the nursing process and coordinate care with the medical team, patients and families.

The role requires current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications, and critical care familiarity. Night shifts are available, with a supportive team and a commitment to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Critical Care Course preferred.
• Basic Arrhythmia interpretation within 30 days of hire.
• Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
• Minimum of one year as a staff RN in acute care hospital, critical care preferred.
• CCRN certification preferred.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within ICU scope and supervise/guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to physicians, including hemodynamic data and diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standard of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to his/her assigned patients. They communicate with the physician about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including hemodynamic monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and abnormal results and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality.

3. Completion of Critical Care Course preferred.
4. Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
5. Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.

7. Critical Care RN (CCRN) Certification preferred.
8. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.

The current compensation range for this role is $43.25 to $59.37. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
