Virtua Medical Group seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for Home Health Care on a per diem basis in New Jersey. The role emphasizes patient assessment, planning, and collaboration with the health care team to deliver high-quality home-based care.

Candidate must hold a NJ RN license and demonstrate strong communication and teamwork. Per diem schedule with weekend coverage, orientation, and competitive hourly pay is offered to qualify for travel within designated counties.

(Level 1 Per Diem nurses must make themselves available each year to work for at least two (2) special days; “special days” for the day shift are defined as: Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween, the day after Thanksgiving, the day before Christmas and the day after Christmas; “special days” for the night shift (starting at 7:00 p.m. of the day of the special day) are defined as: Easter, Mother’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas.)* Orientation: First week of training is Monday – Friday, must have availability to attend full orientation. RNs without Home Health experience will require 4-6 weeks of training. **Job Summary:**Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. As an integral member of the health care team, coordinates patient care and communicates and collaborates extensively with the other members of the healthcare team, patients and/or patient’s family or significant other(s). Perfects skills and stays abreast of current nursing practice through on-going education, journals, etc. Must have strong communication skills. Must be able to coordinate efforts of a team of care providers. Training / Certification / Licensure: Must have valid NJ RN License. Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board.
