Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License; must obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date.
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Methodist Hospital | Specialty & Transplant to ensure we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. About the Unit

• 20 bed Medical ICU
• Patient to Nurse ratio 2:1
• Cares for a variety of complex patients to include: sepsis, DKA, stroke/seizures, liver and renal disease, respiratory failure, etc
• Unit offers individualized orientation with dedicated preceptors and specialized classes
• Doctors are invested in the staff and provide educational offerings to increase knowledge base
• Our nurses take pride in what they do and focus on their WHY every day to provide exceptional care

What qualifications you will need

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
• Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
• Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License (Employees with RN Compact License are required to obtain Texas RN License within 90 days of hire date)
• Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
