Mercy St. Louis is launching an RN Career Path Program to help new and experienced RNs build strong clinical foundations in Med/Surg. You’ll transition into a specialty unit with mentorship, support, and a clear timeline.

The program emphasizes structured onboarding, ongoing clinical development, and a growth pathway into pediatrics, ICU, ED, and more.

Qualifications

• Education: Nursing degree from an accredited school.
• License: Active RN license in Missouri (or compact, if applicable).
• Certifications: Current BLS (AHA).

Responsabilités

• Participate in the RN Career Path Program in Med/Surg for 12–18 months.
• Transition to a specialty unit with mentorship and a clear timeline.

How the pathway works...

Step 1: Start in Med/Surg (12–18 months)

• Observation Telemetry
• General Med/Surg
• Neuroscience
• Neurosurgical
• Oncology
• Orthopedics
• Trauma Surgical

Step 2: Transition to a specialty unit (based on readiness, openings, and fit), such as:

• Pediatrics / PICU
• Med/Surg ICU
• Trauma/Neuro ICU
• CVICU
• Emergency Department
• Burn ICU
• Float Pool
