Job summary

AdventHealth in Celebration, Florida is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift (7p–7a) with weekend rotation. Eligible clinicians can participate in the Clinical Ladder for potential salary increases up to 20% based on experience and advancement.

Requires RN license and BLS, Associate's degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred). 36 hours weekly with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Nursing is required.
• RN license is required and BLS certification is required.
• 1+ year of acute care hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments across physical, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans and adjust as needed.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and ensure effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information and outcomes in the medical record.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.

Education

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience

• 1+ acute care hospital setting [Preferred]

Licenses And Certifications
