Job summary

Montrose Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in Montrose, CO to coordinate the plan of care, provide direct nursing interventions, and educate patients. You will collaborate with the care team and supervise CNAs, LPNs and ward secretaries under the nurse manager or house supervisor.

New graduates may be considered. Colorado license required or able to obtain; BLS on hire, ACLS/PALS within 9 months; ENPC/TNCC encouraged to enhance acute care readiness.

Qualifications

• Current Colorado or compact RN license or ability to obtain it.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with a Bachelor’s, Associate’s or Diploma in Nursing.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS and PALS within 9 months; ENPC and TNCC highly recommended.

Responsibilities

About The Career:

• The Registered Nurse coordinates the plan of care, provides direct age-appropriate nursing interventions and patient education, by collaborating with ancillary, nursing and other patient team personnel. Directs the team of CNA's, LPN's and Ward Secretaries. Works under the supervision of the nurse manager and/or house supervisor.
