Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Beverly Hospital is seeking an RN for the Float Pool. You will float to med/surg inpatient units to provide coverage, perform assessments, administer medications, and monitor patient responses to therapies to support the care team.

This 36-hour-per-week night-shift position requires an active MA RN license, BLS, and 2–3 years of acute Med/Surg experience (or 1+ year in critical care). A BSN is preferred, and ACLS is also preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active MA RN license.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• BSN preferred; 2-3 years Med/Surg or 1+ year CC experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments and administer medications and treatments.
• Observe patient progress and evaluate therapies for outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop care plans and educate patients and families.

Amazing Float Pool Differential!

As an RN in the Float Pool at Beverly Hospital, you will float to areas where extra coverage is needed to care for med/surg inpatients. As a Registered Nurse (RN) for our Inpatient Team, you will be responsible for the following: Complete assessments, administer medications/treatments, observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes.

Great Float Pool Differentials! Every Fourth Weekend required

36 hours per week, nights shift (12-hour shifts), Every other holiday required

Education and Experience requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

· Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts

· Basic Life Support (BLS) required

· ACLS preferred

· Candidates must have 2-3 years of acute Med/Surg experience or at least 1+ years of critical care experience

Pay Range:

$37.00 - $84.71

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms ofthe applicable collective bargainingagreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
