Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health's Beverly Hospital is seeking an RN to join the Float Pool, providing coverage across med/surg inpatient units and ensuring safe, timely care. You will float to areas where extra coverage is needed to support patient needs and care plans.

Shifts are nights (12-hour shifts) totaling about 36 hours per week, with every fourth weekend. Strong assessment, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians are essential to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred and MA RN license required.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS preferred.
• 2–3 years acute Med/Surg or 1+ year critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Complete assessments.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

As an RN in the Float Pool at Beverly Hospital, you will float to areas where extra coverage is needed to care for med/surg inpatients.

You will be responsible for the following:

• Complete assessments
• administer medications/treatments
• observes patients progress and evaluates therapies for clinical outcomes and effectiveness
• Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to develop an optimal health care strategy plan for each patient
• Support and educate patients and their loves ones to achieve maximum outcomes.

Great Float Pool Differentials! Every Fourth Weekend required 36 hours per week, nights shift (12-hour shifts), Every other holiday required

Education and Experience requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required
• ACLS preferred
• Candidates must have 2-3 years of acute Med/Surg experience or at least 1+ years of critical care experience

Pay Range:

$37.00 - $84.71

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
