Qualifications

• Graduate of a Minnesota Board-approved nursing program
• Current Minnesota RN license in good standing
• Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Ability and willingness to travel to various Monarch communities
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
• Experience in skilled nursing and/or assisted living preferred
• Passion for providing compassionate, resident-centered care

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive resident assessments and establishing baseline health status
• Developing, implementing, and updating individualized resident care plans
• Monitoring resident conditions and responding to health status changes
• Administering medications, treatments, and nursing interventions as prescribed
• Supervising and supporting LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing personnel
• Providing clinical leadership and ensuring quality resident care
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation
• Collaborating with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary care teams
• Supporting resident rights, dignity, independence, and quality of life
• Delivering care in accordance with Minnesota Board of Nursing standards and facility policies
• Contributing to quality improvement initiatives and resident-centered care practices

Position Summary

As a Float Pool RN, you will provide leadership and clinical oversight while delivering high-quality, resident-centered care. Through comprehensive assessments and ongoing evaluation, you will develop individualized care plans that support each resident's physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and provide guidance to LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate care.
