Job summary

Genesis HealthCare in High Point, NC is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RN) for part-time and full-time schedules. Flexible shifts: 7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, 11:00pm–7:00am, with shift differentials of $3, $4, and $5.25.

Walk-ins welcome; same-day offers for qualified candidates. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, care planning with the team, administering medications, delegating tasks, and communicating patient information across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an approved school of nursing and currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
• CPR Certification is required

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments and collaborate with the nursing team, other disciplines, patients, and families to develop effective plans of care.
• Establish realistic, measurable short- and long-term patient goals with interventions to minimize rehospitalizations and evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
• Delegate patient care responsibilities to staff and supervise them to ensure tasks are implemented.
• Communicate patient information with assigned staff and between shifts.
