The Springs at Boca Ciega Bay is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) in St. Petersburg, FL. This 109-bed skilled nursing facility offers hourly pay up to $38.25, daily pay, health insurance, PTO, and other benefits.

Walk-in interviews are held daily 10 AM–3 PM except Thursdays; no appointment needed. Join a dedicated team focused on long-term and rehabilitative care, with opportunities for overtime and telemedicine support. Two-story facility located at 1255 Pasadena Ave S, Ste C, St.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in state(s) of practice.
• One year medical/surgical nursing experience in acute care or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works using the Nurse Practice Act, facility policies and procedures and nursing judgment.
• Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care for patients/residents needing long-term or rehabilitation care.
• Delivers nursing care and implements the patient/resident plan of care.
• Directs and supervises care provided by other nursing personnel.
• Maintains documentation and knowledge of equipment setup and maintenance.
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with patient/resident rights.
• Provides patient/family education as appropriate.
• Rotates shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled.

Registered Nurse (RN ) Job Summary:

Registered Nurse ( RN ) Major Duties and Critical Tasks:

• Works using the guidelines established by the Nurse Practice Act, facility Policies and Procedures, and sound nursing judgment.
• Assesses, plans and evaluates nursing care delivered to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitation care.
• Delivers nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care .
• Implements the patient/resident plan of care and evaluates the patient/resident response.
• Directs and supervises care provided by other nursing personnel.
• Provides input in the formulation and evaluation of standards of care.
• Maintains knowledge of necessary documentation requirements .
• Maintains knowledge of equipment set-up, maintenance and use (i.e. monitors, infusion devices, drain devices, etc.).
• Maintains confidentiality and compliance with patient/resident rights, relating to all patient/resident/personnel information.
• Provides patient/resident/family/caregiver education as appropriate and/or directed.
• Conducts self in a professional manner in compliance with unit and facility policies .
• Works rotating shifts, holidays and weekends as scheduled.

Registered Nurse ( RN ) Required Education and Experience:

• Must be a graduate of a basic education program in professional nursing.
• A minimum of one year medical/surgical nursing experience in an acute care (hospital) setting or long-term care setting (acute/critical care is preferred).
• Must possess a current Registered Nurse ( RN ) license in state(s) of practice. Must have a reliable source of transportation.

The Registered Nurse ( RN ) is responsible to plan and deliver nursing care to patients/residents requiring long-term and/or rehabilitative care.
