Job summary

BSA Health System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a night-shift, full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse. You will deliver high-quality ER care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and support patient well-being in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications include RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC within 6 months. Prior acute care experience preferred; the role offers competitive benefits and career growth.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN License.
• BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• ACLS certification (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

The Emergency Room Nurse will be accountable for the health status and for health needs of patients based upon interpretation of health data and preventative health practices in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary healthcare team members

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• High School (or GED equivalent) diploma.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Current RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Advanced Life Support Certification (ACLS)
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross Pediatric Advanced Life Support Certification (PALS)
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) within 6 months
