Job summary

Lovelace Women’s Hospital in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a night shift, full-time Emergency Room Registered Nurse. You will provide professional nursing care, may serve as Charge Nurse, and ensure patient safety in a high-acuity setting.

Required credentials include an Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing and NM nursing licensure; BLS, with ACLS/PALS as needed. Relocation assistance and sign-on bonus may apply.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing required.
• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required by the department.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
