Job summary

Lovelace Health System, Inc. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day shift, PRN Endoscopy Lab RN. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced GI/endoscopy setting, collaborate with physicians and the perioperative team, and support patient comfort and safety throughout procedures.

Requirements include an NM nursing license or NM compact, an Associate's degree or Nursing Diploma, BLS (ACLS/PALS as required), and prefer 2 years in nursing with GI/endoscopy experience.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Nursing Diploma required.
• NM nursing license or NM compact license within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.
• ACLS and/or PALS may be required by department.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care and oversee staff assigned to the RN in charge.
• May serve as Charge Nurse and be accountable for professional practice.
• Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
• May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)

• DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and or PALS
