Registered Nurse (RN) - ER Services

Job Type: Full Time | Day

Sign-On Bonus available to qualified individuals.

Schedule: 3x12, Days (9a to 9p).

As an ER Services Registered Nurse (RN), you will be dedicated to making communities healthier.

Responsibilities
  • Perform plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, and other medical care activities.
  • Document patient care provided.
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to the care team, physician, patient, and family.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
  • Collaborate across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including transfers, discharges, referrals, and psychosocial/spiritual support needs.
  • Evaluate patient and family learning needs and provide appropriate education based on age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
  • Advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
  • Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
  • Provide quality patient care and work flexible shifts or units as needed.
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Current Kentucky or compact state RN license.
  • Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred).
  • Certifications:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) required within one month of hire.
    • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required within 1 year of hire.
    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required within 1 year of hire.
    • Handle with Care required within 30 days of orientation.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts or units as needed.
